GreenTalk Inc,. Announces Imminent Release of ‘GINOVO Smart Putting System’

Since more than 50% of a golf score is made up of putting, improving your putting skills is crucial for reducing strokes. However, most golfers tend to focus more on practicing with drivers, irons, and approach shots, giving less attention to putting practice. GreenTalk Inc,. is addressing this issue by developing products that make putting more visible and enjoyable for golfers.

Their first product is an Sloped Mat that replicates the slope environment of a green onto a putting mat. Recently, they also launched the Sloping Golf Mat, designed to allow for gameplay in a sloped environment. Most putting mats on the market are flat, making concentrated putting practice monotonous. Many golfers have been eager for a putting practice device that closely resembles a field green, and GreenTalk’s newly released ‘Sloping Golf Putting Mat’ meets this demand.

The Sloping Golf Putting Mat combines curling and golf, allowing for putting competitions using both straight and sloped sections. It includes scoring zones at 1.5m, 2.0m, and 2.5m intervals, where players can knock out opponents’ balls or place their balls in high-scoring zones on both flat and sloped areas. The team with the highest score from the remaining balls ultimately wins.

GreenTalk’s CEO hopes that this product will not only offer simple putting competitions but also foster communication and relationship-building among friends and family, eventually becoming a part of family culture.

This company is the result of the innovative ideas of CEO SON YOUNGGUK, a former Samsung Electronics engineer. Captivated by golf during his overseas assignments, CEO SON envisioned a new concept for putting practice systems to reduce golf scores, leading him to dive into the development of this smart putting system.

He developed a smart golf ball with built-in sensors for scientific putting practice and has already secured a patent for it. The idea is to use the smart golf ball to identify individual characteristics and provide personalized posture correction solutions for putting.

Additionally, one of the major advantages of the smart golf ball is its ability to address one of the toughest challenges for golfers on the green: long putts. The product was designed to enable practice at home, helping golfers avoid three-putts and four-putts. The long putt practice mode is expected to help golfers reduce their scores more effectively.

Additionally, GreenTalk has nearly completed the development of a variable mat that allows for adjustable slopes, in addition to their fixed incline mat. GreenTalk states, “Pre-release field tests of the GINOVO Putting Mat showed that it provided even more excitement and fun than traditional games like Yutnori.” They also mentioned plans to extend the experience beyond a single physical space by enabling online competitions, allowing players to enjoy the game regardless of time and place.

CEO SON YOUNGGUK expressed his hope that, through the GINOVO Smart Putting System, golfers will not only reduce their scores but also find greater happiness in the game of golf.
